Agrisolar Best Practice Guidelines Version 2 is now live!

Eva Vandest presented version 2 of the guide to good agrisolar practices at Intersolar.

Agrisolar is an ideal solution for decarbonising the agriculture sector, benefiting both farmers and nature.

Dual land-use initiatives thanks to agripv are helping to reduce water usage on farms, improve crop yield and protect biodiversity.

This new report provides guidance for the deployment of sustainable Agri-PV practices for solar industry stakeholders; it also addresses wider stakeholder groups and serves as an informative tool for the Agrisolar sector.

🍃 #COP27: Amarenco and SolarizEgypt will be there!

🇪🇬 The energy crisis, record levels of greenhouse gases, a tenfold increase in extreme weather events… It is in this global context that, from 6 to 18 November, numerous heads of state, ministers, mayors and negotiators, as well as climate activists, representatives of civil society and business leaders will gather in the beautiful Egyptian coastal city of Sharm El-Sheikh for COP 27, the largest annual gathering on climate action.

In partnership with SolarizEgypt, Amarenco solarized in record time the roof of the International Convention Center in Sharm el-Sheikh to provide clean #photovoltaic energy. An ambitious and necessary ecological project for the #energytransition desired by the Egyptian government wishing to take concrete measures in favor of a greener and more sustainable environment !

Amarenco, in the presence of other stakeholders, will also participate in two round tables on 9 and 12 November on the themes of decarbonisation in the energy and agriculture sectors, the green economy and new business models, and soil regeneration and health

☀️ Between solarizing the roof of the International Congress Center (ICC) in Sharm El-Sheikh and speaking at round tables, Amarenco and its partners are making a name for theirselves for their participation in COP27.

Installation of photovoltaic shades / Saint-André-de-Cubzac

🍃 The Department of Gironde is moving towards #EnergyTransition!

Following the call for applications launched by the Department of Gironde, Amarenco was selected and subsequently became the winner to carry out the #photovoltaic shading project, which is located in Saint-André-de-Cubzac.

🔑 Amarenco favored “turnkey” for this project with the company ENERSTEEL for the construction, and piloted by Melanie LIANZON, project manager at Amarenco.

Construction began in late 2021, and the Saint-André-de-Cubzac shaded areas were put into service this summer 2022.

🔌 This project represents a total of 1,340 m² divided into three photovoltaic shades (250 kWp), for an annual production of 315,500 kWh, i.e. the electricity consumption of 79 households and a reduction of 16.7 t.CO2.

What is the point of building this carpooling area?

🚘 Permettre aux individus de la région et de part et d’autre de pouvoir laisser leurs véhicules stationnés en toute sécurité et à l’abri des aléas climatiques (pluie et soleil).

☀️ The energy created through solar actually allows the Department to achieve economies of scale and reduce their carbon footprint.

♻️ That’s why Amarenco Group is committed to this transition. A pioneering project that aims to reduce the carbon footprint and promote the transition to #R&E.

Closing of the financing of 3 majors solar projects portfolio in Spain !

By financing this portfolio of solar power stations, Amarenco will enable the production of a cumulative total of almost 80 MWp 👇

▶️ Altos de Lubia: 15 MW project under construction in Soria
▶️ Las Naranjillas: 50 MW project in operation in Carmona
▶️ Esquedas: 15 MW project in Huesca

The PPA purchase agreement providing for the injection of this electricity production into the local grid, especially in a period of constantly rising energy costs, are concrete opportunities combining transition and energy independence and to which a country like Spain is very sensitive.

Amarenco thanks its partners for sharing the same vision of a sustainable economy based on the choice of projects that provide decarbonised energy and supply many households while guaranteeing them a stable price for their energy.

Sur ce financement, Amarenco a été conseillé par Astris Finance, LLC (Finance), Uría Menéndez (Juridique), Enertis Applus+ (Conseiller technique) et ESTER (Couverture de taux).
